Let's talk for a minute about the amazing benefits of massage. I gifted myself one of those yesterday and it was great. All the while I was thinking to myself... Jessica, why don't you do this more often? Yes. I think I hit the nail on the head. We (and by "we" I think I mean the people that I know and spend time with) spend so much time doing and thinking about things that 1.) we don't want to be doing or thinking about OR 2.) don't care about doing or thinking about. Hmm... I think it's about time to change that!
Actually, massage is just the beginning. Think about it. What could you add to your life? YOU time, something you enjoy... something that helps you escape from all those other things you have to do. It's not always easy to do, but honestly you owe it to yourself.
Which brings me back to yoga. Why haven't I been to yoga since I've returned from Spain? ...especially at times when I've needed it the most?? Darn. I'm stumped. I love yoga! I guess I owe it to myself to go back. No judgements. No expectations.
Ok, now I have to admit... I left my massage and headed straight for a mani/pedi. I KNOW I've said that I wouldn't go there anymore due to the bacteria, etc., but what can I say!?! I was on a relaxation high!!! Plus, I've always reserved the right to change my mind. Don't judge me. I did have a fleeting second of regret because Andy had the strongest hands ever! He took deep exfoliation to the next level! My poor little paloma. Well, at least my nails are sparkling. That makes me happy.
